Yogaraj Bhat directed 'Drama' and Sumana Kitthur directed 'Edhegaarike' are in the contest for next week - 23rd November and it is interesting because of the expectations both the films have kicked up so far.

Yogaraj Bhat previous film 'Paramathma' was average in the box office but never disturbed any pockets. The assurance from Yogaraj Bhat is like snake and ladder game in the box office. The songs of 'Drama' like in 'Paramathma' are not superb but to one range it is OK.

The film 'Drama' on the philosophy and injection to the younger generation on the carelessness in life is the usual sugar coating of Yogaraj Bhat. The combination of Yash and Radhika Pandit in 'Drama' plus Ninasam Sathish doing a full length role with No.1 music director V Harikrishna and the six long years after S Krishna joining Yogaraj Bhat has raised hopes. In addition to the film team of 'Drama' the disciplined producer Jayanna and Bogendra also contribute for hopes because they do not go in for ordinary stuff films. Ambarish has acted in 'Drama' is an additional bonus to the film.

Meanwhile the regional censor board has given 'U' certificate for 'Drama' and in the favorite theatre of Radhika Pandit where five of her films god released 'Sagar' is the main theatre fixed. This is where 'Mungaru Male' of Yogaraj Bhat also got released and also made history.

'Edhgarike' by Megha Movies got the 'U/A' certificate from the regional censor board is based on the novel of Agni Sridhar a stormy writer and eloquent speaker. Syed Aman Bachchan and MS Ravindra are producers of 'Edhegaarike'.

The travel of killer and to be killed is the main essence of this 'Edhegaarike' dates back to the days of Muthappa Rai in the underworld. Agni Sridhar has lent his story and also written dialogues. Raakesh B in cinematography and Deepak Pandit in music are other major contributors for 'Edhegarike'.

Adhitya and Atul Kulkarni are in the lead roles. Akanksha, Achyuthkumar, Srujan Lokesh, Dharma, Sharat Lohitashva, Meghana and others are in the cast.

Rueben has edited the film, Different Danny worked on stunts for 'Edhegaarike'. This film has announced 'Triveni' as the main theatre in Bangalore.
