Marrakech International Film Fest to screen Karan Johar's films

To celebrate 100 years of Hindi cinema and as a mark of tribute, the Marrakech International Film Festival 2012 has planned to host the screening of several popular movies from Bollywood in the course of the event.

Interestingly the opening night will showcase Karan Johar's blockbuster family saga 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'.

The Marrakech International Film Festival is slated to commence on 30th Nov which will go on till 8th Dec 2012. For the screening of K3G, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, one of the lead of the film, is expected to be present along with filmmaker Karan Johar.

Besides this multi-starrer, KJo's other two films - 'Agneepath' and 'Student Of The Year' will be also screening at the festival on 2nd Dec.

Feeling elated that his films will be showcased on such an international platform, KJo in an interview stated, "It's a great tribute for the Indian film fraternity to be honoured at an international platform such as this. The fest also has a special emotional connect with me because my films, such as 'Kabhi Khushi...' have a vast audience in Morocco."

Besides Karan, veteran Rishi Kapoor will attend the screening of 'Agneepath', while Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan will grace SOTY's show.
