Gautham Belur of Karnataka is in the Hollywood cinema 'Life of Pi' - 3D film was traced at 'Swim Life' academy makes the country feel proud.

Gautham started smimming at the age of three years did not know anything about this film. His parents Krishna Belur and Vidya Belur were also not aware of one such offer coming son Gautham. In the four rounds audition done by Hollywood director Ang Lee the performance of Gautham was satisfied. The ability of Gautham to remain in water and under water impressed the director.

Gautham studying in 3rd standard at Ken Sri School at a very tender age is part of the cast of one of the biggest films of Hollywood. The director Ang Lee was inquiring with me quite often and he treated me so well. I was given good freedom and there was no stress for me says Gautham Belur.

Gautham in his debut in Hollywood is interested in acting. I wait for good opportunities and my parents should approve everything he nods his head.

Directed by Ang Lee A 3 D film 'Life of Pi' is a fantasy adventure based on Yanna Martel novel. Pi is an Indian boy from Pondicherry who survives 227 days of ship wreck with Bengal tiger named Richar Parker. The film stars Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Suraj Sharma, Adil Hussain and Gerard Depardieu.

The film was released all over India on last Friday in 3D and 2D technology.
