The film 'Appayya' languishing in the cans for quite some time in the wake of retirement and taking back of the decision by director cum producer S Narayan has at last released the audio of the film on Friday evening.

It was a simple audio release event at Abhimani Convention center. Four children came up with the box containing audio CD of the film 'Appayya'. Anand Audio released the audio CD to the market.

Director, producer cum actor S Narayan releasing the audio of his home banner film 'Appayya' recalled how he got this story at an airport from a stranger. It is based on a real life story and the required place of a parched land was selected was selected for shoot at Hiriyur. The location is also part of the film he mentioned in his address.
