Veteran singers of over two and half decades Sujatha-Sunitha - known as Bangalore sisters - in to light music, devotional, film singing are hoping to enter Guinness Book of world records.

Sisters with over 5000 songs to basic programs have reached the 1000 mark in 'Suprabhatas' - the morning prayers of almost all the Gods and Goddesses have been covered by we two says Sujatha Dut speaking to this correspondent. Collecting data we are approaching the Guinness says Sujatha Dut.

Sujatha Dut frankly admits that she is not trained in classical music. She was recognized by GK Venkatesh, Mysore Mohan, Manoranjan Prabhakar etc.She is the playback singer for more than 300 Kannada film songs starting from 'Gili Bete' in 1988. Jointly with her sister Sunitha rendered voice for over 5000 songs so far.

The insult for singers like me made me to withdraw from film singing. The status is hopeful for track singers say Sujatha Dut. The song of track singer sometimes go in the name of famous names is another injury to insult feels Sujatha Dut.

After decades of singing the position for me is not poor. From singing what I earned given good education to children - son is software engineer and daughter is graphic designer. My husband Dattatreya has stopped his business on the health grounds say Sujatha Dut.
