In the golden era of Kannada cinema of 70's the film made in Kannada attracted the adjacent states. Many of the subjects adapted in cinema were utilized in non Kannada languages.

That is the past story. Now the 2013 has something startling in Kannada film scene. Four Kannada films released in the gap of 40 days have attracted the other language films makers.

'Charminar, Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, Myna and Gombegala Love' are getting in to other languages. First the news came from 'Charminar' Nagarjuna son Nag Chaitanya saw the film 'Charminar' and producer Sridhar announced the Telugu remake of Charminar. Director R Chandru home production nearing to 50 days has given some cheering moments. Director R Chandru is expected to say action-cut to Telugu film of his maiden home production.

Now 'Gombegala' love by actor Arun is made in Tamil with a change in the director. 'Gombegala Love' is a flop in the box office but the contents attracted a maker in Tamil.

The pinch hitter via dialogues 'Simple Agi Ondh Love Story' going great in box office has the demand for Telugu and Tamil remakes.

'Myna' a film with visual treat starring Nithya Menon and Chetan Kumar plus star attraction of Tamil super star Sarath Kumar is also in demand for remake says director Nagashekhar.
