'Pora' Kannada cinema shot for 20 days in USA at places like New York, Washington and other places is based on the real life happening of killing of Indians in Australia. In his first film as hero Amogh alias Janardhan director of Kannada films has picked international subject concerning Indians.
From 'Boy Friend' Kannada cinema direction debut Janardhan was part of a few films but the breakthrough was evading him. For this 'Pora' he is sure of achieving it and one of the producers Devaraj also says it is luck that was away from Amogh.
In Mass Movies first time producer Dr Shylendra Beladala is joining hands with Devaraj, V Ramachandrappa. Dr Shylendra from Bidar district is convinced with good story and narration. He is shooting at his home town for 15 days. Bidar is the pride of Karnataka as the Asia's 3rd best Port is found here he says.
Director and actor Amogh is shooting in Bangalore and Bidar in the final schedule. He plays a crime reporter, police arrest him mistaking as don. Meanwhile he stood behind 'E Preethi' and finished the shooting of it finally. For 'Pora' he says it has interesting story and told in thrilling style.
Dr Girish Karnad, Raju Thalikote, Tabla Naani, Lucky Shanker, Sudharani, TS Nagabharna, Sumithra and others are in the cast.
NRI heroine is Vylari from Washington. She has already become fan of Indian films. She was part of short films, dance in Oberoi style and also part of journalism field. She is Nidhi in the film. She is daughter of a wealthy Home Minister played by Dr Girish Karnad.
Indra KM is dialogue writer, assisted in direction and scores music for the film. First half is USA location cinema and second half is Desi shot cinema he says.
