Not understanding the emotional bondage of the people titles are selected while the KFCC is on a strong sleep when such titles are registered. In addition to English titles for Kannada films is making the issues very sick.
Now the title 'Veera Basavanna' of director Srinivasaraju starring Upendra is discussed strongly and condemned for such a title and such a poster. In the beginning for 'Basavanna' there was pistol and now it is long sharp edge weapon in the hands of 'Basavanna'.

The people of Dhandupalya village in Hoskote have made humble appeal as the contents in the film would cast a wrong shadow on the people living in the village. He went ahead with the title and the film became success in the box office.
Now he is again in a controversy with the title 'Veera Basavanna'. When time comes I would definitely change the title but not now he says.
Recently Malashri Kiran Bedi was made as Kannadada Kiran Bedi, Veera Madhakari of Sudeep was changed as 'Kannadada Veera Madhakari, Ayodhyapura was changed as 'Karnataka Ayodhyapura'.
