Kannada film director with novel thought in his debut film 'Shubam' (Shivadwaj and Sanjitha) in 2005 (two versions in one film) Ravi Garani was hit by bad luck as the film not fared well in the box office. Ravi Garani announced another project with Kichcha Sudeep in 2011 and that failed to take off.

Giving up film direction he switched over to business of his family in Madhugiri. As a result he improved farming, dairy, bar and restaurant and even showed interest in Educational institutions.

The super hit director of 'Kavyanjali' television serial returned after seven years to small screen and given a big bang from 'Krishna Rukmini'. His next one 'Amrutha Varshini' currently on air in Suvarana TV is tremendously popular. For the same television channel he adds two more - Priyadarshini and Aragini.

A few of his television serial 'Krishna Rukmini' actors are making it big in big screen. One of the actors of 'KR' is Sunil alias Krishna made debut in 'Madarangi' Kannada cinema.

A progressive thinker and knows the trick of trade giving 3 mega television serials for 'Suvarna' satellite channel is a rare occasion.

RG Media in Rajajinagara of Ravi Garani is giving employment for 107 employees and growing to heights.
