A journalist, actor, director and thinker Prakash Belawadi very active in English and Kannada theatre from the family of artists is part of the 'Madras Café' that is all set for release.

Prakash Belawadi shot in to fame in small screen from 'Garva' highly acclaimed television serial and before that he began his career as journalist from Indian Express group. Prakash Belawadi. He plays the role of 'Bala' in 'Raa' organization Madras Desk.

Prakash Belawadi in association with Ajith Handhe and Balaji Manohar conceived a scene sent to him by Shoojith Sirkar. It was my colleague Arjun Chakradhar insisted for this type of idea. Sirkar was very happy with the idea worked on a particular scene. It was invitation to play the required role for it. I gave consent to it says Prakash Belawadi. The film 'Madras Café' is political espionage thriller.

The latest is that 'Madras Café' is facing problems for release on this Friday at Chennai and other places of Tamil Nadu. MDMK leader Vaiko and founder of NAAM Thamizhar Katchi Seeman demanded ban on the film for allegedly portraying outlawed Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in bad light.
