The Karnataka cinema workers federation in which 15 plus associations come under has been divided and a new cinema workers and artists federation has evolved on Thursday afternoon in Bangalore.
In the wake of banning Dancers Association President Rajesh Brahmavar by existing cinema workers federation headed by Ashok and KFCC President B Vijayakumar the break up has happened.
Nearly 700 plus membership Rajesh Brahmavar and team collected for the formation of Kannada Chalachitra Karmikara Maththu Kalavira Okkuta. It was formally inaugurated on Thursday afternoon at Maharashtra Bhavan that is a furlong distance from the existing Karnataka Cinema workers and Artists Federation office.
The new Okkuta has the support of persons like Murugesh Nirani and Raju Gowda Patil ex ministers of Karnataka.
The new announcements from the newly formed cinema workers federation is that - annually five producers recognized for Rs.1 lakh award each, it has decided to honor five best films and give call sheet of 8am to 8 pm as one call sheet without excess payment for the cinema workers.
