From one historical bumper crop 'Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna' for producer Anand Appugol to another historical film director Naganna is making another big leap.

'Dalavayi Muddanna' a combination of three novels of Ta. Ra Su - Kambani Kuyilu, Raktha Rathri and Rajyadaaha finally taking a shape not in TS Nagabharana direction but Naganna direction and the producer who announced the film first C Narayan remains the same. These novels are often referred by Tamil super star Rajanikanth in the reminiscing his days in Karnataka.

Like how three novels of Ta Ra Su 'Akasmika, Aparadhi and Parinama' were made by TS Nagabharana starring Dr Rajakumar in the similar way three novels of the same author are combined for 'Dalavayi Muddanna'.

C Narayan in a cop production is launching the film and already one month of fresh look at the screenplay has taken place. TS Nagabharana work is kept aside.

A year back it was disclosed that Upendra will be taking up 'Dalavaayi Muddanna' but the scene is different. Naganna is directing Upendra for a Tamil novel and that is even before the start of 'Uppi-2'.

Prakash Rai (Raj) remains from re look to the screenplay for 'Dalavayi Muddanna'. The final consent has not come from Prakash Rai as he is busy in 'Oggarane' Kannada film.
