You were really waiting for this type of role in your career?
I believe it is God sent. The role in 'Neenelle Naanalle' was very tough for me firstly because I had to play opposite my father in law Dr.Vishnuvardhana . My full energy has come on the screen because of good cooperation from Dr.Vishnu, producer K.Manju and director Dinesh Baboo.
Is it really becoming difficult for you to select roles?
That is because the huge popularity of my father in law Dr.Vishnu who is in the films since 34 years. I cannot accept all sundry roles. I have to make careful steps and this is what I love immensely.
There is a saying that offer come to you from influence?
I do not agree with this. Accidentally I am played a role in Dr.Vishnu's film 'Neenello Naanalle'. But why it took lot of time for me to get this type of meaty role. After marriage nearly two years later I got this offer. This explains that no influence work out here.
Then what else?
Talent, hard work and dedication take you to heights. Luck is another aspect that gives you a cake walk.
Now you would say your beginning is good?
I always looked at anything in a positive sense. From theatre when I came to films from 'Chitra' Kannada film I had the same temperament.
We hear that you rejected some of the offers?
They were not good for me. After 'Thuntaata' I did not get good offers. I was rejecting the offers and audience rejected me so far.
How is the professional discussion with Dr.Vishnu and you?
We discuss roles but he asks me to take the judgment. He has never discouraged on any aspect.
The role in Neenello….., is a dream role for you….
There is very good sentiment, comedy and action without vulgarity. This is what I liked. It was challenging because first half was bubbly with energy and in the second half the role acquired lot of seriousness. One thing I can say is that my future will glow from this film.
What are the films you have accepted now?
I am doing 'Thamashegaagi' and Nagesh Kukanoor's 'Door' with Ayesha Takia I am playing an important role.
