What is the philosophy on which you live?
"The fear makes us to live, daringness destroy the life" is what I believe. This is what I have learnt with the super hit of 'Dhuniya' that is running to packed houses all over Karnataka.
Is it because you have taken extreme risks the film has clicked?
I wanted everything to be natural to look on screen. This is what director Soori also suggested. I escaped serious injuries three times while doing 'Dhuniya'. I have come up in life facing harsh realities. This has in fact made me to perform the role on screen with ease.
What is the response of the audience who watched 'Dhuniya'?
I have traveled all over Karnataka after the release of my debut as hero in 'Dhuniya'. I am extremely happy with the response. I am appreciated by audience in Bangalore, Hassan, Chitradurga, Manya, Mysore and other regions. They said I am very near to real life story. Many of them have compared their life story to the film.
What is your mind up to now?
'I have to keep up my name'. The audience expects me that I do real things on screen. For this I am doing lot of work out for gaining physical strength. Further I am cultivating the simplicity in life. Two films in a year enough for me. I will not use dupe for any scene, not give chance for any graphic work for my scenes, no rope or strings for action scenes.
What is the new film you have signed?
I have accepted a film for 'Dhuniya' director Soori's associate Chandra's debut direction.
What is your education and family background?
I have failed in the history subject of my final year degree. My parents were looking after me all these years. Now I have to look after them, my wife and three children.
You know that an actor in limelight has to live in false prestige sometime?
For that I just want to be silent. Remaining in false prestige is not my cup of tea. I would be a real on reel too.
