    Sparkling Sachin

    At the lollypop age the child prodigy Master Sachin has lot of ideas. His role model is his relative Dr.Arun Kumar who is a scientist. Already in to various fields of activity Sachin wants to become an Aeronautical Engineer/scientist as he grows.

    A small boy of 11 years and 11 months Sachin in to modeling, singing, acting in television and films, swimming, cycle riding and scoring high in his studies wants to be a multifaceted personality. At this age he cannot live without music.

    Born to highly educated software engineers from Bangalore Sachin is a great fan of Dr.Rajakumar and Dr.Vishnuvardhana.

    In an exclusive net interview here he speaks his mind for various questions put to him:

    Can you furnish a brief background – your age, name of parents – both are employed, where u are staying, which school u are studying?

    I am 11 Years 11 Months born to Mr Satish and Nandini. My father is an engineer in Microcom systems and my mother too is an engineer in Telecommunications. She works from home as software engineer. I am Studying in 7th Standard, CARMEL SCHOOL, Padmanabhanagar, Bangalore.

    You are getting good marks…..

    I am always in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd ranks in class. In 6th Standard I was awarded the “Best student of the year” in School. I am the Cultural Secretary of my school.

    When did you start appearing before the camera?

    I first appeared before the camera when I was 6 years old, for the television serial ‘Malebillu’ I am in to Modelling and acted in few movies too. For Life style Stores FORCS brand (baby Soap) Kissan, Mark and Spencers, Cosmos Mall, Lido Mall I have done Ramp walks for Prasad Bidapa, one of them was for LEE YOUTH –Arvind Mills at The Taj Residency – Bangalore, was the first runner-up for PRINCE BANGALORE 2007 held at Chowdiah Memorial hall.

    I believe you are good singer too…. Give me more detail information on singing career

    I love to Sing. My love for singing started at the age of 4. I have got many prizes in singing competitions in my school for Devaranaama, bhaavageethe, film hits etc...I participated in Kasturi Channel’s SAPTHASWARA, I came to the top 5 position, and I have given outdoor performances in Hosadurga, Davangere, Harihara, Udupi, Hassan, and Bangalore. Currently I am participating in ZEE Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, I have reached the finals. I am learning Carnatic Classical Music.

    The school gives you permission or u bunk the school? How is the encouragement from your school?

    I have complete support from my School, My Chairman, My Headmistress, My Class teacher and friends. I am really lucky to be a student of Carmel School. They have told me that, only if I score good marks, they will give permission. I usually never bunk school, during my Serial shooting, I used to go to shooting only after school hours.

    ‘Chaitanya’ film is very interesting. What difficulties you faced in doing that role?

    Chaitanya was a challenging role and also the role exactly matched my interests in real life too I did not face much difficulty in doing the role. There was wonderful support from Shivram Uncle, Kishori aunty, Shivadwaj uncle and Roopa aunty. In my birthday scene actually Myself ,Shivadwaj uncle and Roopa aunty had dig into the part of the cake which was facing us , almost half the cake was eaten up by us ,we were afraid if the cake will collapse before the shoot is over. Only the front part of the cake which was facing the camera was in shape. We were eating and giggling all the time. Shivadwaj uncle had his mouth full of cake and when the director said “Action!! “ He did not know what to do, we could not control laughing.

    What are the other films you have acted?

    I have acted in ATHMEEYA, BIRUGALI, OLAVE JEEVANA LEKKACHARA, MINUGU and CHAITANYA.

    My first preference is studies, as far as I am able to keep up with my studies. I want continue my extra curricular activities too. I feel extra curricular activities should always be there along with studies, otherwise it is very boring.

    Coming back from school what do you do apart from studying? How is your day like?

    I get up early at 5:30 in the morning. Then I go to swimming which starts at 6 am I come back at 7:30 am, I take bath, I do Sandhyaa Vandane, drink milk and have breakfast, then ,when I come back from school, I go to Music class ,I have classical music classes two days a week. I do cycling. There are no kids of my age in our road, they live a little away ,but since I am small , my parents don’t allow me to go far from my house to play but I play in school.

    Fond of chocolates, ice creams, pizza, burger….

    I like Chocolates, in chocolates I like Snickers and Toblerone chocolate I love Pizza but I don’t go much to Pizza hut or Dominos, my Mom makes Pizzas at home. She is very clever; she put lots of vegetables and makes Pizzas.

    I occasionally have Burgers. My elders say that “children should not cultivate the habits of eating Pizzas, I like Ice creams – especially Butter Scotch.

    You see films, hear to music regularly….

    I can’t live without music, I hear music regularly, on TV, Radio and CDs. I love all types of good music, Western, classical, instrumental etc... I like English Action movies. I am a great fan of Dr Rajakumar and Vishnuvardhan Sir, I want to become like them. Vishnuvardhan Sir wears a Kadaga on his hand ,so even I am wearing one . I never remove it just like him.

    Which is more interesting for you – studies, acting or singing?

    This is a very difficult question. I am interested in all the three.

    Which one you want to take up seriously as you grow?

    I want to take up all the three, especially Singing and Studies, but I love acting very much too. I am sure I can balance all the three.

    Do you have any other interests or achievements you are thinking about?

    I Love Swimming, I am good swimmer, I started swimming when I was 5 and a half years old. I love vehicles , I can drive my mother’s Honda Activa , alone, I want to drive Car , but my father says “wait till your feet reach the brake and Clutch, then I will teach you”, but now my legs are long enough ,but my father does not allow me.

    I want to become an Aeronautical engineer/Scientist when I grow up. My Grandmother’s brother Dr Arun Kumar is my inspiration; he is a Scientist -G in NAL. He is very intelligent and good person. In studies and humility, he is my role model.
