 Melody is what lacking in this film album. For inside the hospital song it could have been melody instead of singing in high pitch. When the songs are also made accorindg to the dashing image of the hero like Upendra this type of mistakes bound to crop up. R.P.Patnayak has scored music for five songs in 'Uppi Dada MBBS' not even one is lilting and foot tapping. Upendra doing a job he is not familiar – singing is a wrong choice. M andhre…., and Makkar Mado….., songs written by Upendra, Kaviraj are below average songs. Hemanke……, sung by Suma Shastri (Kaviraj lyrics), Gadibidi…. Sung by Shanker Mahadevan are average tunes. Preethse Preethse sung by Kunal Ganjawala for the lyrics of Nagendra Prasad is peppy.
What is interesting is that R.P.Patnayak has not copied the tunes from the other three versions in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
Upendra, Maheshwari, Ananthnag, Gurudutt, Sumithra are in the lead roles of this remake Kannada film 'Uppi Daada MBBS'. K.Bapaiah is the producer and top director in Kannada cinema D.Rajendra Babu has directed this film.
Ashwini Recording Company has priced the CD at Rs.50. The CD cover is attractive.
