Ekadanta Music Review

Ace music director Gurukiran has gone mad about hitting at the musical instruments. It is disturbing to the ear drums. He lacks in giving proper treatment to music and lyric part. He has not allowed the lyrics to reach the listeners properly in 'Ekadanta' film audio album. Added to it is the shabby orchestra style that further brings down the 'Ekadanta' being pleasant to the ears.

Director Sachin with a long career in Marathi and Hindi films and Dr.Vishnuvardhana the pride of Kannada filmdom seems to have not heard the album of 'Ekadanta' properly. What is the point in writing lyrics? Whether it should be heard or not? The 'Ekadanta' team has not understood this aspect. The success can carry on for a certain time despite of doing series of bad works but how long Gurukiran?

The first song in the album Bandal Badayi Madhave...... sung by Gurukiran is the height of lie in it. Malagodu Bus Stand Yelodhu West End, Helodhu Chairman Agirodhu Watchman gives good humor. With difficulty we have to get hold of the lyrics.  Yet this is peppy.

The second one Ekadanta title song..... Sung by SPB is usual.

Hogona Hogona Nag Nagtha.... Sung by Gurukiran and Shamitha could have been better. Gurukiran voice is not that clear in this song. Hemanth or Rajesh could have been appropriate for the male voice.

Yee Sonta Nodu Ninna Aase Thiro Ganta Ye baro mava meyo meva naa upp kaara thinno hudugi...., an item song for which Dr.Vishnuvardhana, Malgudi Shuba and Sacchin have lent voice is not in good taste. How come two senior join to sing this vulgar song.

Ganapathi Bappa Moreya Nadaso Namma Area sung by Dr. SPB and Chitra is a Ganesha festival procession song it appears.

Goturi, Gurukiran, V.Manohar, Shiva have penned the lyrics for this film.

It is time to rethink in the career before giving too many flops is the advice what we can give for Gurukiran.
