 Director Kodlu Ramakrishna known for soft and story based films with conviction for the first time shot his film 'Ms California' at the beautiful locales of Malnad in Karnataka and rest at California in United States of America.
In a huge undivided joint family the eldest son is staying in California. The intention of grandfather in the house is to conduct the betrothal to his grand daughter in United States of America with a humble and simple culture loving boy from his home town.
The protagonist Diganth from India is a wild life photographer. His aim is to become one of the best photographer in India. The heroine Jahnavi residing in California is an ace model. She is pinning hopes for 'Miss California' contest first position. Both participate in their respective field. In India on a vacation from United States of America Jahnavi in the remote village of her grandparents obviosuly finds it difficult to get going. She hates Indian mentality and culture here. On compulsion staying in a village Jahnavi slowly forced to love the tradition and culture of the country. When it is time for her to leave India for the final contest she is immensely in love with the boy she was hating all these days. How she changes her attitudes, how the handsome Diganth also comes to California and inspire Jahnavi in her contest with Indian attire are the twists and turns of this film.
There is also a message tucked in this film for all NRI's. This film is slated for release in the month of October.
