 The Kannada version of 'Munna Bhai MBBS' is appearing soon after bumper crop
in Telugu and Tamil versions.
In the title role Upendra plays what Sanjay Dutt, Kamal Hassan and
Chiranjeevi done earlier. For the image of Upendra in Kannada the fan
following he has in Kannada the subject is apt. The film focus on the good
humanity to patients is more important than good medicine.
Years after his stay in city Uppi gets a signal that his parents are coming
to see him. What he has to do? A deal master not a doctor stitches a story
to please his parents. In a hurricane plan he comes in the get up of doctor
and in the false prestige he gives a feeling to his parents that he is
really a doctor. But soon he understands that he has to live up to the
expectation of his father. He writes the MBBS examination and tucks the
stethoscope around his neck. In the hospital he gives prominence to humanity
as the medicine. The care and affection is rather more important than the
medicine that is injected he believes strongly.
