How come the experts in the medicine field did not get to know about this kind of movie? How come the censor boards in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka closed its eyes on the most disgusting and dangerous contents in this film? Knowing which person has been transplanted the organs donated by another person is a tightly kept high secret in the medical history. In addition to it the protagonist in 'Anu' plucks the eye, heart and kidney on his own to put it back to his lover body. He wants her to take rebirth with all organs in tact.
Besides being a dangerous film the thrill what the director and producer think is very disturbing to the normal brains. When the outcome of the film is discussed 'Anu' is harmful to the society.
Prof. Mahesh (Balu) is madly in love with Jyothi (Rashmi) a medical college student of his college. Prof. Mahesh tries to convince Jyothi that he knows her from previous birth but that is pooh-poohed by Jyothi. The astute student Jyothi considering donation of human organs is a yeomen service signs the application in her college to donate her organs after death. It is after some time she dies that lead to various dangerous developments on the screen. According to the wish of Jyothi her eyes, kidney and other organs are removed for the transplantation by the doctors. Hurt seriously with such condition of his fiancé professor Mahesh turns psychic. He goes behind the persons who have been transplanted the organs of his fiancé murder them and replace the organs on the dead body of his fiancé Jyothi which he has kept in a secret place.
This serial killing and awkward approach is investigated by television crime journalist Anu (Pooja Gandhi). Knowing from her own eyes the mishaps of Prof Mahesh she is not able to trap him because of intelligent handling of the situation of the professor. In the end it is as expected.
Pooja Gandhi is at her best. The difficult role Pooja has lived with utmost care. She has taken part in action scenes is also new discovery of her talent. Balu the producer also of this film has done very well in his debut film as an actor.
The cinematography by Niranjan Babu and editing in this film are quite impressive.
Have guts to watch this film.
