Jayahe Movie Review - Captivating Stunner

IndiaGlitz  [Friday, July 09, 2010]

Here is a stunner from ace action director of over 300 films Thriller Manju. The silver screen gets a new solid action heroine - that is Ayesha, a Karate exponent. The quickness, vigor and confidence in doing stunts in her are admirable. She surpasses the caliber of  lady bonds like Vijayashanthi and Malashri in south India with her exemplary skill.

The terrific screenplay speed and the acrobatic stunts of Ayesha is a treat for the masses. With Kallarachi martial art form the action scenes look permissible instead of usual action dosage.

Jaya (Ayesha) is looking for her father who was kidnapped 14 years ago. Susheel Kumar, computer wizard has been kidnapped by Khan (Soorya) to Bangkok for international crime hacking the bigwigs on the internet. For the sake of safety of his daughter Susheel Kumar an intelligent business tycoon does this crime. Here in Mangalore Jaya leaves to Dubari Forest range where she gets trained in Kallarachi martial art that is very essential for her mission. It is the master Thriller Manju who trains and guides Jaya and post interval we see in Bangkok, Jaya encountering Khan and gang to free her father. It is a tough journey for Jaya but her urge to save her father is fulfilled.

Ayesha in her debut, shouldering too many action scenes has been apt because she is already a black belt Karate champion. She looks good too on screen and thin down considerably to take up some more films of different nature in future. Avinash as father is once again too good. Soorya, the six feet two inches tall villain, has been exceptionally good. Soorya has a great future ahead. Thriller Manju as trainer in martial arts is very quick in his movements. The investigative officers Jay Akash and Gauru Pandit work go unnoticed.

Krupakar has not offered any notable tunes. Janardhan Babu camera work is pleasant. It is an action feast from Thriller Manju.

Scoring 7/10
