Pooja, who has debuted into filmdom with the Tamil film Jay Jay, had a good time with the Tamil cinema. Thereafter, she has been doing prominent characters in the films like Pattiyal, Attahaasam, Ullam Ketkumae and many of the films opposite the stars.

Last year she got an opportunity to make an entry into Malayalam. She was casted in the Dileep starrer Don, but the dates clashed and she was not able to act in the film. Gopika who was casted instead, went away with the laurels.

Now again, she is now called for doing the female lead in the new film starring Naren. This time, Pooja is not taking any chances and has earmarked enough for being in the film. The film titled Pandhaya Kozhi is produced by Lal Creations, the super hit filmmakers of Malayalam.
