Malluwood actress Karthika is making a good show in Malayalam, especially in Vinayan films.

Starting the year as the heroine to Jayaram in Kanakasimhasanam, she also gathered applause as the young collector Anitha Williams in her latest Athisayan, which are in theatres now.

Following the beeline of other Mallu actress to Tollywood and Kollywood she recently ventured into Tamil films with her first film in Tamil Pulanvisaranai 2. But the film hasn't even hit the theatres.

But she is not prepared to debut in other films even though her popularity is also growing by leaps and she is receiving plenty of plump offers. She was keenly interested in Kartha from director-actor R Parthiban.

But as she had committed for a trip to the Gulf countries by the later half of the month and the films dates clashed with this assignment, she has preferred to opt out of it instead of solving her date problems and fit herself to the schedule.

She specifies that she wants to wait until her first film gets released and only after that she'll consider other new Tamil films. 

Karthika is the heroine of Vinayan’s Black Cat starrer Suresh Gopi, Kanalkkanndai and a couple of films in Malayalam which are to hit the screens in the coming months.
