In the past we had seen many instances where the screen villains have turned out to become the best of the heroes. Starting from our own Mohanlal to Kollywood's Sarath Kumar to the latest hero Jeevan, a lot of one time villains have excelled in heroic roles. But now it is the turn of an action director to check his feasibility in acting departments.

Ace fight master Kanal Kannan, popular with his good action sequences in many Malayalam and Tamil films plays the hero in a new film. The flick titled 'Satrumun Kidaitha Thagaval' features him as an escapee from a lunatic asylum. This thriller produced by Air Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is directed by Thakkali C Srinivasan.

"Kanal Kannan fits the role to the tee and Bharathi plays the lonely frightened girl in the house where he reaches running way from the asylum", says the director, who is quite famous for his humorous action thrillers.
