The people of Kerala have essentially become the only group who has already started enjoying the effects of bandhs and harthals. 

Every year they generously admit at least a dozen of harthal days, which they will make victorious by enjoying at home with their relatives or with their friends. The only groups of government servants who are on work on harthal days are the police man who will have to do an additional duty to keep everything in order. 

What will happen if the entire police force goes for a day's bandh and if they refuse to work on the day? This is the theme of the new movie 'Police Bandh' that will hit the theatres next month. 

This is an altered and dubbed version of a Telugu movie featuring Sreekanth and Kavery in the lead. Also in the cast are Narendra Babu, Mumaithkhan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kollam Thulasi, Chalapathy Rao and Tom Jacob. 

Cinematographed by Pavvanan, the dialogues for the movie are written by Mankombu Gopalakrishanan.  The movie will grace the release centers by the last week of April.
