Most malayalee youngsters will be surprised to find that Tamil actor Bala is the one young actor who is having the highest number of Malayalam projects on hand.

Bala who debuted into Malayalam with 'Kalabham' got noticed with his roles in 'Big B' and the recent 'The Sound of Boot' after which he was always busy, among films.

Bala has just completed Mohanakrishnan's 'Omkaram' and Sarjulan’s 'S'MS' with Navya Nair. The actor who is presently in the sets of ‘Aayudham’ with Suresh Gopi has almost completed his parts in 'Musafir' with Rahman and ‘Chembada’-the action flick directed by Robin Thirumala.

“ ‘Chembada’ is being shot in a different pattern and I am doing many action sequences for the movie, without any dupe. I had studied martial arts before and is now having an opportunity to present them, on screen, “says Bala.

The actor who has been signed for four more projects in Malayalam and Tamil, dreams of being in a period film filled with war and love.

Bala is planning to float a production firm shortly with his brother Shivakumar, who is a director in Telugu. The young actor will start his first home production by the early months of next year.
