'Ara Kallan, Mukkal Kallan' ( aka Half Thief Three-Quarter Thief)-- the name immediately takes you to the Premnazir-Adoor Bhasi starrer of  1974 , which was one of the biggest hits in the evergreen hero's career.

And the satirical song 'Kanaka Simhasanathil' from the movie, apart from being a big hit even had its many repercussions, connecting very much with some unforgettable incidents of the emergency period.

The piece of interest that make us recall the hit of the seventies is that, Dileep is going to team up with Suresh Gopi for the new movie to be made in the same title 'Ara Kallan, Mukkal Kallan'.

The project to be directed by Jose Thomas will be scripted by Sibi K Thomas-Udhay Krissna team. Produced by Mahi in the banner of Super star films, the movie will bring back Suresh Peters once again to Malayalam, to  set music to four songs of the movie 'Ara Kallan, Mukkal Kallan' will feature two heroines, of which one will be a new face.

The other cast and crew list are yet to be finalized.
