K B Madhu, has started shooting for a movie titled 'Shambhu’ at least a couple of years ago. The music of the movie was by the then chart topper 'Jassie gift' who has composed some beautiful tracks for the movie, which went on to become chart toppers. 

When more than sixty percent of the movie was canned, somehow its shoot came to a halt. And many in the circuit even thought the movie will be shelved, due to this extreme delay.

But the latest news is that ‘Shambhu’, featuring Vijayakumar in the title role has started shooting for its second and final schedule at Kochy. Produced under the banner of DTS Productions by Rajaneesh and Ashraf Bedy, the movie has scripts by T P Salim, cinematography by Jibu Jacob and editing by Don Max. 

Sindoori who caught attention through her performance in the Tamil hit 'Boys' makes her Malayalam debut in ‘Shambhu’, which also will present the return of Babu Antony as a villain, after a long time. 

Also in the cast are Karthika, Geetha, Riyaz Khan, Rajan P Dev, Machan Verghese, Santhosh Pali, Beena, and Mini.

KB Madhu, had earlier directed films like ‘Chitrashalabham’, ‘Deepasthambham’ ‘Mahatcharyam’, ‘Vinayapoorvam’ ‘Vidyadharan’ and ‘Deepangal Sakshi’, before this movie.
