Famous music director Rajamani, specially known for his background scores and title music of films like ‘Ekalavyan’ and ‘Commissioner’, is planning to try a hand on the silver screen too. And to begin with, he has completed acting in a new movie that will reach the theatres soon.

Rajamani will don a character of a landlord, with negative shades in ‘Gulmohar' the new film by Jayaraj. He will be appearing as Chacko Muthaallai, a wrong doer who is targeted by the protagonists who believes in Naxalism.

‘Gulmohar' will grace the theatres next week as an Onam release.
