Superstar Mohanlal’s first film for this year will be 'Red Chillies'' directed by Shaji Kailas. The movie will make its release by the second week of January. This investigative thriller based on the backdrop of a FM station and its leading presenters has plenty of D I works, which made its release later than expected. The movie was originally planned for last Christmas.

Meanwhile Shaji Kailas's latest Tamil movie 'Ellam Avan Seyval', a remake of Malayalam hit 'Chinthamani Kola Case', made a decent run in Kollywood box office emerging as an average hit. The movie has character actor R K in the lead while Malayalam star Bhama also made her debut into Tamil with this movie.
