Actor Mahesh's first movie as director ‘Calendar’ graced the theatres today. The family movie scripted by Babu Janardhanan was released in more than 40 centres, all across the state.
 
The movie featuring Prithviraj in the lead, is the second release of the actor, this year. The young star who is in a big need for a hit will be expecting much from this movie which also features Navya Nair and Mukesh in important roles. The movie will also feature the star of the eighties, Zarina Wahab making a comeback to Malayalam.

‘Calendar’ was earlier planned for a release, last week. But due to some technical problems related to taking prints, the movie's release was delayed.
