When lot of controversies and communications are going on in the state regarding the concepts of Jihad and its applications in “love jihad”, young actor Jayasuriya is coming up with a movie titled as ‘Jihad’. This will be the second movie from Sohan Lal who made a promising debut with the movie ‘Orkkuka Vallapozhum’. The movie which will have Jayasuriya in the role of protagonist named Parvesh, deals with the current social unrest in the state following the information about the existence of  many terrorist organisations which recruit young blood for their deeds. Deedi Damodaran, who was much appreciated for her films like ‘Gulmohur’ and ‘Makal’ (Kerala Cafe) will script ‘Jihad’. The movie will be produced by Prakash Bare and Thampi Antony in the banner of Silicon Media.
