Kalabhavan Mani seems to be the only actor in Malayalam who is lucky enough to share the screen with every popular actresses from Tamil. The last film which he shot for was ‘Black Stallion’ which featured Namitha in the lead. And the latest one he will start to shoot soon will be the one with Mumtaj. This dancing star who was a rage in glamorous item numbers was not seen much in movies, in recent times. And so, Mumtaj had recently shed much weight to look younger and to grab better roles in Tamil.

This yet to be titled movie will be directed by Mohan Kupleri in the scripts of Suresh Pathissery.   The movie will also feature Muktha, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Bijukuttan. Produced by Kabeer under the banner of Kingdom Films, the movie will start its shoot by the mid of December at Palakkad.

Anyway, let's wait and see whether this movie and its heroine role can offer a different meaningful career for Mumtaj in Malayalam.
