The most popular director of family movies in Malayalam, Sathyan Anthikkad is getting ready for his fiftieth movie in Mollywood. Planned for the Vishu of 2010, the director who is undoubtedly the biggest brand name after the Big M's in Malayalam, is in the final touchups on a special story. This time, the movie will feature the views from a township, telling the stories of people pushed back into the backgrounds of those living with posh life styles.

This movie will be told entirely through the viewpoint of a female protagonist, though the director, who is continuing with his success run in the last eight films, has not yet fixed the lady lead of the movie, Jayaram and other regulars of every Sathyan films will have roles in this fiftieth film too. Venu will handle the camera while Illayaraja will be in the charge of music department. Produced by Thankachan Immanuel in the banner of True line, the movie will start its shooting by the second week of January.
