Shruthi Haasan is said to be working in a remake of her father Kamal Haasan's super hit movie 'Sigappu Rojakkal', and guess who's directing it?

The original 'Sigappu Rojakkal' was directed by Bharathi Raja and sources say the modern version of the same story will be made by his son, Manoj. Getting to further details, sources reveal that Shakthi will play the hero alongside Shruthi.

While Shruthi is busy with her music career and Telugu projects, Shakthi is awaiting his release of 'Aattanayagan'. All in all, looks like its generation next in Kollywood, with director Manoj and Shruthi working in one of the super hits, their respective fathers worked together.
