After a month long hunt for an actress to play the wife to Mohanlal's character in the movie 'Shikaar', director M Padmakumar has finalised actress Sneha in the role. It was earlier reported that Lakshmi Rai will take the role, but the date problems seems to have forced the actress to keep away from the movie.

Sneha is for the first time appearing as the heroine opposite Mohanlal. She had been with Mammootty in a few films including Thuruppugulan, Vande Matharam and the latest in 'Pramaani'. 'Shikaar' will also feature Mythili and Ananya in other key roles.
