One of the longest pending Mohanlal movies, 'Swapnamalika' is all set to release in a couple of weeks. The first movie for which Superstar Mohanlal has written the storyline, the movie is shot at Banaras and Kerala. Basically a love story with a spiritual touch, the movie has Mohanlal as an Oncologist Dr Appu Nair who arrives at Banaras to do his last rituals for his father. There he meets a foreigner Ileana with whom he enters into a mystical relationship. And soon Dr Appu goes missing.

Directed by Devarajan and scripted by Suresh Babu, the movie's shoot was delayed many times owing to opinion differences in the crew. 'Swapnamalika' is now expected to get on theatres for this summer.
