Though some of his characters in recent times are typecast and not working good as it was, character artist Jagadheesh is once again back to play the hero role. His new movie in the lead titled as 'Kalyani Kalavani', is directed by Prasad Valancheril.

The movie which will be on sets in a short while will also feature Ashokan, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, indrans, Bheeman Raghu, Lena and Kalpana. Radha Varma is the heroine of this movie, which will be produced by Prasad Keshav in the banner of Indira Creations.

Last year, Jagadheesh was seen in the lead role in movies like 'April Fool' which met with lukewarm responses at the Box Office..
