Malayalee director Siddhique is all set to create history with his first ever Hindi film 'Bodyguard' featuring Salman Khan in the lead. The movie has emerged as the biggest opener ever in the history of Hindi cinema. The film embarked on a 95% to 100% start everywhere in India, and is said to have collected around 20 crores in its very first day surpassing the previous records of 'Dabanng' and '3 idiots'. The movie with almost full advance bookings for its day two, will also collect in similar lines.
'Bodyguard' which is the remake of the Malayalam film with the same title featuring Dileep, was released with 3000 prints in 65 countries on the 31st of August. If the movie will be able to maintain the momentum for another couple of weeks, it is sure to become the highest collected movie in Indian history.
