An ever-accessible Lal

IndiaGlitz [Saturday, November 05, 2011]

Answering to the statements made by many leading figures in Mollywood about the non availability of superstar Mohanlal even to hear their stories, the star now maintains that he is very much accessible to anyone who wants to get in touch with him.

pushing aside the allegations and accusations about himself working only through his Man Friday 'Antony Perumbavoor', Mohanlal says that there is nothing new in these kind of accusations, which started following him ever since Antony floated Aashirwad Cinemas. ''The issue is that , I can't do all the movies that are offered to me. We have our own production house and naturally I do give priority to our projects'' explains the only superstar of Mollywood.

The recent debate opened up as some of the producers in the Malayalam film industry clarified their uneasiness while dealing with secretaries of artists. In that course, they even tried to ban actress Nithya Menen, one of the most promising young actress of the times. And amidst these accusations came out the problem where Mohanlal was said to be non- accessible due to his partner Antony Perumbavoor, who was said to be always in- between the star and the film makers. Many of them including director Renjith opined that the in the recent years, Lal has become totally inaccessible to makers like him.
