The shooting of Prabhu Deva's next Bollywood directorial venture, which follows the stupendous success of 'Rowdy Rathore', kick started in Mumbai yesterday (August 1). The film produced by TIPS has the producer Kumar Taurani's son Girish Kumar making his screen debut as hero and Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
Posting a pic of himself along with Kumar Taurani, on micro-blogging site, Prabhu Deva wrote yesterday, "With @kumartaurani at our film's mahurat today.
We started shooting today.Wish us all good luck, friends." According to the producer, they will soon shoot a song in Mumbai, after which they will move to Himachal Pradesh for a schedule. The untitled project is a remake of Prabhu Deva's Telugu blockbuster 'Nuvvostanante Nenodattana'.
It is to be noted that the film was remade in Tamil as 'Unakkum Enakkum'.
While Siddharth and 'Jayam' Ravi played lead roles in the Telugu and Tamil versions respectively, Trisha was the heroine in both the languages. For its Hindi version, Prabhu Deva has retained Shiraz, writer of 'Rowdy Rathore' and cinematographer Kiran Deohans.
Writing on his Twitter page, the actor-choreographer-cinematographer stated: "I always enjoy working with creative people." Besides Girish and Shruti, the film includes Randhir Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Poonam Dhillon, Satish Shah, Govind Namdeo, Zakir and Nassar.
