He can be considered as the young old man, with his spirited energy and commitment to always keep himself on toes, keeping himself busy.

But then no one can escape from the clutches of unexpected health issues. Of late megastar Amitabh Bachchan is suffering from severe painful coughs.
 
Sharing about his bad situation, the veteran wrote on his blog, "An awful night, coughing my lungs and stomach away... stomach which has surgical left overs and still in process of repair. Pains with each expulsion."
 
He further wrote, "A quick visit to the doctor on arrival and the antibiotics and the syrups and the inhalation and the home remedies, a million of them, for, each individual has their own perfect formula of recovering from this."
 
Next on an amusing note, Big B stated about various medical remedies which unfortunately doesn't seems to work on him. "Its really quite amusing at times, but they all work - allopathic, ayurvedic, homeopathic, privateopathic, generalopathic.

Pathic from the person that you meet on the flight, your driver, your security, the departments at home, and the staff, visitors, guests, they all have remedies that 'will work miracles' or so they say ... never seems to work on this ol' man (sic)," added the 69-year megastar.
 
Early this year Mr. Bachchan had underwent two abdominal surgeries following abdominal complaint and since then he has been visiting doctors for regular check-ups.
