The year's edition of IFFK will have films from south-East Asian country of Vietnam featured under the section of 'Country Focus'. The festival will have five films from Vietnam, all made almost half a century after that infamous war that stripped Vietnam.
The section will explore the transition that cinema has undergone in this small country.The movies to be screened includes '2011 movie Mother's Soul' directed by Nhue Minh Pham, Dang Di Phan's film, 'Don't Be Afraid Bi,'When the Tenth Month Comes' by Nhat Minh Dang and 'Ms. Tu Hau' by Pham Ky Nam and 'The Moon at the Bottom of the Well' by Nguyen Vinh Son.
The festival which starts this seventh at the capital city will screen at-least a 175 films in its various sections.
