Arundhati Naag gets off in style

Senior theatre personality Arundhati Naag has debuted into Mollywood in style. This Sangeeth Natak Award winner has impressed everyone with her first Mollywood role of 'Knight Rider' in Da Thadiya'- the new film from Aashiq Abu on theaters. The movie has her as the strong grandmother of its lead characters Luka and Sunny, where her word is the finale in the family.

Arundhati who is the wife of the late Kannada actor Shankar Naag, had been in some great on screen roles in the past in films like 'Name sake', 'Paa' and Dilse' and 'Jogi'.She had won the National award for the best supporting actor for the film 'Paa' in 2010. Arundathi is also the founder and the Managing Trustee of the Sanket trust, established in 1992,  which has Girish Karnad as its chairman, and which runs the Ranga Shankara, a Bangalore based theatre.
