Vijay is currently working on director Vijay's yet to be titled film produced by Chandraprakash Jain with Amala Paul. This film is to be released by mid 2013.

Vijay's next film has been decided already and it is to be produced by RB Chowdary. Sources say that the film is to be titled "Jilla" and is said to have Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. The music for this film is cored by D Imman. This film has the added selling point of both the Tamil and Malayalam stars Vijay and Mohanlal and we expect to see a good film.
