The year's edition of IFFK, International film Festival of India, will kick start by the sixth of December at the capital city. The most popular film festival of India, IFFK will extent till the 13th , featuring an array of interesting films that won headlines with national and international level awards and appreciation. This year, we will have 180 films in various sections.
The Malayalam films included in the competition section are 'Kaliyachan' by Farooq Abdul Rahman and '101 Chodyangal' by Sidharth Shiva. While Farooq's film had won a handful of state-level awards, Siddharth's film had already bagged two national awards - for the Best First Film of a Director and Best Child Artist.
Five film that will be screened in the Malayalam section includes ' Kanyaka Talkies' by K R Manoj, 'Celluloid' by Kamal, Shyamaprasad's'English,' Venalodungathe' by Sanjeev Shivan, 'Anchu Sundarikal' and Rajiv Ravi's 'Annayum Rasoolum'.
