After a gap of a couple of years, Mohanlal is back with his favorite director Shaji Kailas, for the new film titled 'Red Chillies'. The first schedule shoot for the movie was completed days ago at Kochi. Planned as a thriller in the script by A.K Sajan, Mohanlal plays Omar, a multi-millionaire who is settled in Gulf and runs a popular FM station in Kochi.

Omar, a multi-lingual person who can speak in English, Arabic and Malayalam, is a techno savvy fun loving personality who communicates through the e-mail with his nine FM Radio Jockeys known as Red Chillies, who are all  madly in love with him. The movie will have nine new sexy models playing the title roles of the 'Red Chillies'.

Produced by Renjit Rajaputra, the movie is planned as a Christmas release.
