Director-actor Sasikumar's 'Subramaniyapuram' went on to be a huge grosser at the box office. The film that told the tale of a group of friends who go astray because of bad associations had a gripping screenplay. The screenplay of the film has been written in Malayalam and has been published by Olive Publications, Ukozhikodu recently.

The screenplay book was released by DR. Punathilkunhabdullah and director Blessy (Kazhcha, Dhunmanthra). Shebbu has translated the Tamil version to Malayalam. 

A ceremony was held to launch the screenplay which was felicitated by former Kerala minister Muneer, short storywriter V.R. Sudheesh, director M. Mohanan (Katha Parayumpol), director Pralayan, director Sasikumar and other personalities.
