Makeup Man Preview

After the big hit 'Marykkundoru Kunjaadu', hit maker Shafi will once again face the audience with the movie 'Makeup Man' by next month. In fact the later was almost complete much before Mary....but was delayed as very few portions of the shoot involving Prithviraj was pending. A movie which tells about stories behind film making, the movie has Jayaram and Sheela in the lead roles.   

Sheela will play a famous movie artists Anamika who is the heartthrob of many thousands of fans. She is currently shooting the movie 'Cindrella' in which she is cast in the lead role. Kunchacko Boban plays her hero in the film, while Siddique plays Sidharth, the director of the movie.Jayaram is Bala, A MBA graduate who is in the film industry as he had not much options left, when he completed the course. With the help of one of his friend Kichu Manjali, he gets into touch with Lawrence, a senior makeup man, who takes him as his assistant. For the movie 'Cindrella, Balu is in the role of the personal makeup-man of Anamika.

Within a few days of shoot, Anamika becomes impressed by Balu's character and soon he finds a big place in his life. But the people around her gets much jealous of their relationship and plans to get him out of her life, someway. Amidst the story of Anamika and Balu, the movie also takes a satirical look into the various backstage stories of tinsel town.

Sachi-Sethu who had been with Shafi for the super hit 'Chocolate', pens the scripts for this movie.Vidhyasagar is in charge of the music department, while Azhagappan and Shyamdutt handles the camera.

Prithviraj would also do a cameo in the film along with Lakshmi Rai, Sheela, Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Janardhana, Maniyanpillai Raju who play other roles in the movie. 

Shot on locations at Trivandrum, Cochin, Hyderabad and Singapore, this movie will be brought to theatres by the month of February by Rajaputra release.
