Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban Preview

'Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban' is the title of the big hit Tamil movie of the sixties featuring MGR. But almost forty years from this movie, director Rajbabu is getting ready to present his new endeavour titled the same in Mollywood. Made in the scripts of Krishna poojappura, the movie's base story is by Tamil scriptwriter Gopubabu. Featuring most of the comedy stars of Mollywood, the shooting of 'Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban' directed by Rajbabu (of 'Chess' and 'Kangaroo' fame)is almost complete.
                                         
The movie has jayaram as Jayashankar, a wholesale vegetable vendor, living a happy life with his mother and only sister Kalyani. Jayashankar who had been the life and soul  of his silent village krishanpuram, is now forced to move on to  the city to meet Sethumadhavan, his distant relative and a money bag of the circuit. Currently in big financial troubles which also resulted in calling off the already fixed marriage of his only sister Kalyani, Jayashankar needs to find Sethumadhavan and to borrow some big money from him in order to get back to his peaceful life.
                                         
It was through a pure accident that TV channel Presenter Varsha and her brother Saajan Joseph entered the life of jayashankar. Varsha found jayashankar as an impressive material for her street reality show, when he landed in the city. Saajan Joseph, who is the circle inspector of police, is known for his abilities to grab every kind of thieves who enters the city. But Saajan have a more than normal belief in his personality and beauty, and also suppose that it is his handsomeness that helps him to become famous. Somehow, this inspector becomes a headache to Jayashankar who is clutched every time for no reasons of his.
                                             
But Jayashankar, is at the same time proving to be a problem for many others in the city including the local M LA Dathan. As each of the group including a gang of thieves follows Jayashankar to find out his real face, we are made known that jayashankar is actually another person who had to be in the disguise for some mysterious reasons.
                       
Biju menon will come up as inspector Saajan joseph while Suraj venjaaramoodu is Sethumadhavan in the movie. Mithra Kurian appear as kalyani while vandana is varsha. Salim Kumar appears as a trainer for petty thieves in the film while lalu Alex is Hameed, the IG of police.  Also in the cast are kalabhavan Shajon, Kottayam Nazeer, Janardhanan, Mamukoya, Pradeep Prabhakar, Kishore and Priyanka.

Anandhakuttan cranks the camera while Mohan Sithaara set the tunes to songs written by Engadiyoor Chandrsekharan and Rajeev Alunkal.
